Wow is all I can say. This experience sounded amazing from the start but getting to be out on Iriomote and experience nature in such a way was amazing. I loved that we were not rushed at all we were able to just sit back and enjoy nature at a nice leisurely pace. Takashi showed us around the island, the mangroves and a waterfall. He also made us soba and coffee which were both delicious. This is the best experience I have ever been on and it made me fall in love with Iriomote. If you get the chance I HIGHLY recommend booking this tour.

Wow!! What a wonderful experience for my family and I! We have lived in Japan for almost 2 years and this is by far one of our favorite experiences! My daughters (12 and 16) were able to control their kayak, hilariously, but they did it! We had a truly authentic experience, we picked vegetables from a farm for our authentic Okinawan soba cooked on the beach by our wonderful guide. We took a 30 minutes hike to a waterfall and had just a wonderful time! We are so grateful for the pictures Takashi took during our adventure, we will cherish these moments for a lifetime! We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to have an authentic and truly magical Okinawan prefecture experience!

In one day, Takashi has managed to show us true paradise. From start to finish he guided us through the pristine nature of Iriomote and shared a beautiful part of his wonderful island life. This was an unforgettable experience and anyone would be lucky to take part. Takashi is very knowledgeable about the terrain and taught us so much about the local plants, animals, and community. It was so special to pick our own vegetables for a delicious vegan meal he prepared in the forest. We had a nice hike through the jungle and were astonished to find two grand waterfalls which we had all to ourselves!

Takashi is always in a good mood and answers all questions with good humour.  We know what we are going to do in advance, which I like. We can even play in the waterfall and eat next to it.  

I spent two days with Takashi. He is professional, easygoing, and well-prepared.  He showed us around at a relaxed pace, and has interesting knowledge to share about local plants and wildlife.  Fresh pesticide-free food from a local farm was a nice touch.  A much appreciated experience!
